ABOUT
Normangee, Texas is a rural community located 40 miles northeast of Bryan-College Station. Normangee Elementary is a Texas Education Agency “Exemplary” school! We are a pre-K through 5th grade, Title I campus with approximately 280 students. Our staff is made up of 20 teachers (all of whom are GT certified and many of whom are ESL certified) and 7 instructional aides who provide a fantastic education for the children in our community.

NES serves students with a comprehensive general education program, as well as a special education program through either the regular classroom, resource classroom, or life skills. Our Special Education Resource teacher is Helena Kelly. She is assisted by paraprofessionals Sharon Donahoe and Carrie Sanders. Our Life Skills teacher is Cathy Luna. She is assisted by paraprofessionals Charlene Hodges and Tammy Patterson.
